Three main objectives were met:
- Reduction in the mass of PAB bracket
- Increase in steering column vertical and lateral mode frequency
- Head impact ‘g’<75
Testing & Validation
Following tests were done on various members of the automobile namely – Rear Twist Beam (Rear Twist Axle), Front Cross Member (Front Cradle), Lower Control Arm and Body Bracket.
